G'day & Welcome

Post by admin »

G'day and welcome to the Leadfoot Models' LFM Forum.

We hope to create a space for like minded builders of large scale model cars.

While these will typically be the 1/8 & 1/12 scale models, we also welcome all scales, and not only cars, but other wheeled vehicles and dioramas.

Our original forum was hosted as part of our webstore (leadfoot models), however the need for a stand-alone forum has become evident, and this is why in some categories you will see some ''Legacy Posts''. These have been copied across from the original site based forum.

This was important to do as the original members and the quality of the work and discussions was absolutely worth keeping as there was a great deal of knowledge conveyed in a short space of time.

This forum will be an evolving place so you may see new categories come along, and we welcome your feedback and suggestions for categories.

We aren't looking to make this an absolute MONSTER forum, but rather one that model builders of all larger scale model cars can come to, regardless of skill level, experience, collections, and hopefully get some benefit from.

Our store, Leadfoot Models, has supplied products to customers from all over the world, and some amazing places that have surprised us, so on this basis we also welcome builders from any country, as nationality, race, politics, religion and any other sensitive topics are left at the door, so we can all enjoy this hobby and the friendships it offers.

If our little forum can be part of that, then it's a pat on the back for us 😁

Hello everyone.

The new forum's arrival has made me very happy.

I wish us all a beautiful spirit of togetherness, good humor, fruitful exchanges....... and beautiful montages

The fact that it is a forum with a global vocation and that it brings together people from different backgrounds is fantastic.

Colin, thank you for your hard work in creating it.

Gilles
